Everything a concrete contractor needs to price a job, get paid, and win more work — free.

Yardage and gravel calculations, invoices, estimates, contracts, and the pricing math — all in one place, built specifically for concrete contractors.

Price the job

Get the number right before you send it.

A flatwork slab and a footing pour don’t price the same way. Start with the concrete calculator, build the estimate off it, and check your markup before it goes out.

Calculator

Concrete Calculator

Cubic yards, bag count, and pour cost from slab or footing dimensions. Setting a gravel base first? Run the gravel calculator too, for base depth and yardage.

Estimate

Concrete Estimate Template

Line-item estimate built around a real slab-pour job, ready to send.

Calculator

Markup vs. Margin Calculator

Know the difference before you quote — the two numbers are never the same.

Most concrete bids go wrong on yardage, not labor. Order short and you’re paying for a second short-load delivery mid-pour; order long and you’re paying to haul away the extra. Get the cubic yards right before the truck shows up.

Start here: run the concrete calculator on the actual pour dimensions, then the gravel calculator if you’re setting a base — yardage errors are the single most expensive mistake in this trade.

Run the business

Know your numbers, not just your prices.

Labor burden and break-even — the two numbers that tell you if the business itself is actually profitable.

Quick answers

Concrete tools FAQ.

Are these tools actually free?

Yes — every calculator and template linked above is free to use. Some detailed job-tracking packs and bundles in the shop are paid; those are always labeled.

Does the concrete calculator include waste and overage?

Yes — it adds a standard overage percentage on top of measured yardage, since concrete can’t be un-ordered once the truck is loaded and a short pour means a costly second delivery.

Do I need Excel or Word to use the templates?

Most templates are provided in both Word and Excel-friendly layouts, plus a version you can fill in directly on the page.
